Our Facility

Each of our facilities across the Greater Boston area holds accreditation through the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities. We adhere to the highest level of patient safety by upholding the strict guidelines set by AAAASF for surgical facilities and surgeons. With routine evaluations by qualified AAAASF surveyors, we consistently maintain 100% compliance and provide a cutting-edge facility for your patients to receive predictable and safe surgery.

Our Technology

All our facilities are equipped with the latest surgical technology, including CBCT imaging, iTero® digital scanners, PIEZOSURGERY®, CHROME™ GuidedSmile for implant placement, and medical modeling for orthognathic surgery. Additionally, all our facilities provide full anesthesia services, including general anesthesia, and have an on-site CRNA anesthesia provider to assist during surgery.

Our Team

Our oral and maxillofacial surgeons are board-certified and are BLS, ACLS, and PALS certified, with a combined 120 years of experience. Together, they have placed over 20,000 dental implants and have completed over 110 full arch dental implant rehabilitations along with thousands of wisdom teeth extractions. Medical doctors as well as oral surgeons, our team is affiliated with North Shore Medical Center, Anna Jacques Hospital, Beverly Hospital, and Tufts Medical Center.

A Princeton and Harvard graduate, Dr. Blaeser has since continued onto an equally prestigious career, perfecting his techniques and skills in oral and maxillofacial surgery.

A music scholarship recipient and accomplished flutist, Dr. DiPirro transfers this level of excellence and precision into superior oral and maxillofacial surgical care.

Gathering from a variety of interests, education, and skills, Dr. Jurgens now specializes in life-changing oral and maxillofacial surgical treatments.

A clinical educator in anesthesia at two of the most prestigious medical centers in the U.S., Nicola brings years of experience to the role of nurse anesthetist at our office.

Guided by a genuine sense of compassion, Christopher brings years of specialized training and experience to provide pediatric and adult anesthesia services.

Melissa Lackey, D.M.D., M.D., grew up in Bloomfield, New Jersey and has been dedicated to providing Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in the North Shore area for nearly 15 years.

Passionate about reconstructive and cosmetic surgery and laser treatment, Dr. Kraus brings a unique skill set to a stellar background of oral facial surgery expertise.

I had an oral surgery procedure last week by Dr. Kraus at North Boston Oral & Facial Surgery. I cannot speak highly enough about them. I was so well taken care of! The entire staff was kind, caring, and professional. Their attention to detail regarding Covid-19 precautions is impeccable. Dr. Kraus did such a phenomenal job on my mouth that barely a week later I am almost back to normal and healing quickly and well. I can not say enough about my whole experience. I dislike anything that has to do with the mouth! My case is uncommon. The staff Dr Kraus . Even the Anesthesia nurse was a comfort. I would absolutely go back again!

My 92-year-old mother had to have teeth removed and was very nervous! Dr. Dipirro not only took the time to calm her nerves but did a fabulous job removing the teeth quickly. The dental assistant was also very attentive to my mother, again, I can't stress how nervous she was about this procedure. I was so impressed with how we were treated I will be bringing my daughter back for her wisdom teeth when the time comes!

Very good experience for our son. Dr. DiPiro and her assistant Tish were wonderful and took very good care of our son. He had four wisdom teeth (impacted) removed and he was in virtually no pain! In fact, he went out that night! We're preparing for a consult for our other son.
